Good dark red. Complex if reticent aromas of dark cherry and menthol. Sweet, sexy and pliant, with lovely verve and a slightly medicinal character to the cherry and crushed stone flavors. Broadens out on the back end without any loss of energy, resounding impressively on the aftertaste. A classic, rich 2009 with backbone.
