From Burgundy, we can announce the arrival of the 2009 red wines of Maison Roche de Bellene / Domaine de Bellene, the new operation of Nicolas Potel who continues to produce wines of the highest distinction (no surprise as the winemaker and the fruit sources are still the same!). The quality of their 2009 wines was impressive as confirmed during our tasting in the cellars in Beaune. We selected a number of his most sought-after wines (including many Grand Crus), albeit in tiny quantities. This means that many wines will unfortunately be sold out very soon - we recommend to order them as soon as possible to avoid any disappointments! Two of our favorites were the 1er Cru Nuits Saint Georges Aux Murgers and the Grand Cru Clos Saint Denis - simply fabulous!
