Burgundy 2009 Subscription!

Dear Wine Friends,

We are very happy to offer by now almost all wines of the 2009 vintage in Burgundy! Rarely has there been such a hype as now seen for the vintage 2009 in Burgundy. We note that it is not always a given to receive the expected allocation from our domaines, let alone any increases in allocations. The production of the small domaines and growers cannot satisfy the increasing worldwide demand for the wines hailing from the Côte d'Or.

As can be generally observed for luxury products, many burgundy growers have not escaped the trend to markedly increase prices for their sought after products. We - as merchants of such wines - are therefore forced to pass on the price adaptations made by our growers. Please take these unfortunate developments into account when you notice the sometimes drastic price increases for certain wines.

In any event, due to the high demand for the wines of this vintage, we further feel obliged to serve first and foremost our existing customers who have also bought other wines and vintages from us in the past. However, we will - of course - take orders from new customers into consideration, provided that a reasonable order ratio with other wines and/or vintages is maintained in the order.

The newly available wines of the domaines Cathiard, Clavelier, Chevillon, Bachelet, Mugnier, Pavelot, dublere and Faiveley can be found in our shop in the category Burgundy Subscription 2009.

The 2009 wines from the following Domains are now available for subscription (delivery Fall 2011).

We explicitly reserve the right to allocate certain wines. Thus, after you receive an order confirmation from us you will obtain our invoice (due 14 days after receipt of the invoice). Delivery of the wines will be annnounced after arrival of the wines in our warehouse in the Fall 2011, as usual.
