Champagne Pierre Péters is among the very best producers of the Côte des Blancs. The champagnes are crystalline, mineral, superfine and elegant.

100% Chardonnay Grand Cru

The Cuvée de Réserve, is blended from almost 15 years of harvests, exclusively composed of Chardonnay from Grand Cru villages in the Côte des Blancs.
It's made with 30 percent of reserve wine from a perpetual cuvée, a constantly replenished blend of multiple vintages that was established with the 1998 harvest. This reserve wine, along with the judicious blend of different villages, helps to round out the wine and prevent it from feeling aggressive, and the Cuvée de Réserve consistently demonstrates a fine balance and delicious drinkability.

Robert Parkerts Wine Advocate, Antonio Galloni, #197, Nov 2011, Rating: 92P.
The NV Brut Cuvee de Reserve is striking. It shows fabulous cut and definition in its fruit, expressive aromatics all backed up by plenty of underlying structure. A bright, mineral laced finish rounds things out in style. This is superb entry-level wine from one of Champagne’s top producers. The Cuvee Reserve is 100% Chardonnay. This year’s release is based on 2008 (60%), with reserve wines going back to 1988, precisely 1988, 1990, 1993 and 1995-2007 (except 1999 and 2003). Dosage is 6.7 grams.

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Dec 11, Rating: 91P.
(mostly from 2008, with some wine from 1988, 1990, 1993, 1995 and every vintage through 2007 except for 1999 and 2003; disgorged February, 2011):  Light gold.  Expressive, highly perfumed aromas of lemon pith, orange and green apple, with a subtle undertone of brioche.  Gently sweet on entry, then nervy and taut in the mid-palate, offering racy, pure citrus flavors and a hint of succulent anise.  This refreshingly brisk Champagne finishes with very good energy and spicy persistence.
